Wahana Cargo Unmanned Russian Burned When Penetrating atmosphere



INTERNATIONAL - An unmanned cargo spacecraft are sent to the international space station (ISS), burned in the atmosphere shortly after launch on Thursday (12/01/2016).

"Based on preliminary information, the vessel was on fire because the situation was not normal. The ship was lost about 190 kilometers above the remote region in the mountains of uninhabited region of Tuva, Russia," he disclosed the Roscosmos, in a statement.

Roscosmos is a state company that is responsible for overseeing and implementing a comprehensive reform of the Russian space industry.

"Most parts of the plane caught fire in the dense layers of the atmosphere," the statement quoted by AFP.

Initially, Roscosmos mention has lost contact with the spacecraft was named the Progress MS-04 383, a few seconds after the launch.

The launch space launch facility in Baikonur, Kazakhstan.

Nevertheless, inquiry into the launch failure is still under investigation.

The agency said that this loss will not affect the normal operation of ISS and the condition of the crew on ISS.
