Republicans Trying to Stop Vote Recalculate US presidential election



INTERNATIONAL - Republicans are trying to stop a recount of ballots US presidential election on November 8, 2016 in the three states.

In the three states in question, ie, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania, the president-elect Donald Trump edged, as reported by Voice of America, Saturday (12/03/2016).

Request for recount of ballots in three states was proposed by the Greens who claim it is necessary to ensure the integrity of the US electoral system.

According to the Green Party alibi, a recount is not to change the results of the presidential election which was won Trump.

If all the ballots counted again, the results likely will not change the overall election results.

In the state of Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette, Friday (12/02/2016), said he had asked the state Supreme Court to stop the recount.

Schuette said the Green Party, which put forward as a presidential candidate Jill Stein, could not have asked for a recount because Stein is not the aggrieved person in this case.

Schuette said, if there is an error counting in Michigan, the results do not lead to Stein won the election in Michigan, because Stein only gets one percent of the vote in the state.

Republicans and supporters of president-elect also filed similar lawsuits in the state of Wisconsin, Thursday (12/01/2016) night.

While in Pennsylvania, Trump's lawyers filed a similar lawsuit, saying there was no evidence, nor allegations pengutak-Turn the power off the voting systems in the state.

Jill Stein said Trump was elected president and his supporters tried to delay the recount was that his group could not meet the deadlines specified state and federal governments to announce their results.
